I had the privilege of being able to cover the 2017 presidential inauguration of Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., for work. I was assigned to take photos, produce social media content and write-up stories for the website that included such content.
Our crew arrived two nights before the big event — on January 18 — and took some time that night to get familiar with the setting.
