Lesser-known NYC Christmas trees

Everyone knows about the Rockefeller Christmas tree — the iconic tree that often becomes a symbol of the holiday season in New York.

But there are so many other hidden gems across the city. On Christmas Eve, armed with my camera and some warm gloves, I ventured out to capture images of these trees.

Those I photographed: Wall Street, South Street Seaport, Washington Square Park (with a great view of the Empire State Building) and the Bloomberg Tower tree.
